CHROME WIRE WHEELS

Chrome wire wheels, more widely used on Jaguars, are the focal point of any British sports car.  While they are a chore to clean, no wheel has a more classic appearance.

Tim and I spent the morning fitting the vintage Michelin tires and new chrome wire wheels and knock-offs on the Healey.
These wheels make an appreciable difference in the Healey's appearance.
No matter what the camera angle...
And I thought this car looked great with silver wheels.

The archive listing of this blog contains detailed step-by-step photos and narratives regarding this restoration since it began late last December.  Please direct any comments and questions to tommystoplesscars@yahoo.com.

This Healey is Happy, Happy, Happy...
