The interior carpeting was almost completed today. The carpeting for the transmission shroud was fabricated yesterday but a few minor changes were required. It will be installed tomorrow.
The carpeting for the drive shaft shroud has a cut-out for the handbrake and it was edged with the vinyl to match the seats and trim.
The rear seat back is now permanently installed. It is removable to allow for the convertible top and bow storage.
The seats and slides will be installed tomorrow.
The archive listing of this blog contains detailed step-by-step photos and narratives regarding this restoration since it began late last December. Please direct any comments and questions to tommystoplesscars@yahoo.com.
I love this car and it loves me...
