INSTALLING WINDSHIELD WASHER AND MAP TRAY

The windshield washer reservoir fits in an opening in the carpeted map tray.  The tray is positioned under the dash on the passenger's side.
The washer system is a very simple one.  It is actually a small hand operated pump mounted in the face of the dash.  It is visible in the top center of the photo to the right.

We also fitted the transmission tunnel today.  Gus, our upholsterer, has the tunnel carpeting ready to install and we will snap it into place tomorrow.
The carpeting for the floors have been cut to size and we will also install them tomorrow.  At that point we will be ready for seats.

The archive listing of this blog contains detailed step-by-step photos and narratives regarding this restoration since it began late last December.  Please direct any comments and questions to tommystoplesscars@yahoo.com.

Happy, happy, happy...
