With the Hilton Head Concours d"Elegance lurking in the very near future, everyone is working diligently toward the big day...November 3. With the mechanical and electrical completed, we spent the day working on the interior. Fitting the carpeting without a pattern is not an easy task. And folding this 65 year old man in half and trying to fit him in a 2 foot by 3 foot space under the dash is also quite challenging. At any rate we are progressing.
The photo to the left shows the application of the rear seat deck carpeting and seats. Gus, my upholsterer, is working on the carpeting for the transmission tunnel and we plan to set it in place tomorrow.
